Cowrywise Ambassadors Program
Led content strategy for one of Nigeria’s largest student ambassador communities with 10,000+ members, delivering 12+ masterclasses with 95% satisfaction and reducing onboarding time by 50%.

The Context
Cowrywise, a Y Combinator-backed wealthtech platform with 2M+ users and $3M+ in funding, runs an Ambassadors program to extend its reach through community-driven content. The program needed a content lead to develop strategy, guide the ambassadors, and help them create content that actually resonated with their audiences.
What I Did
I led content strategy for the Ambassadors program, developing the approach for how ambassadors would create and distribute content that aligned with Cowrywise’s brand.
I designed a 6-month content writing curriculum delivered across 12+ masterclasses, improving ambassador content output and engagement. Each month had a structured theme, curated learning resources, and live sessions. I researched the resources, coordinated speakers, and shaped the masterclass content.
I also developed a restructuring proposal that reduced onboarding time by 50% and introduced sub-teams and recurring content activities that strengthened program engagement. This wasn’t just about reviewing posts, it was about helping ambassadors understand what makes content work and how to connect with their audiences authentically.
